- [Narrator] In this video, I'm going to share with you a slightly unusual use of phasing the so called prehistoric phase technique. So let me do a little bit of setup here first to explain to you what I mean by this prehistoric phase idea. So no doubt you've worked in a project before where you've opened it up and you're working in a view, and suddenly you discover a bunch of geometry off to the side that wasn't there yesterday and you're wondering, what is that? And why did somebody put that there. So here, I've got a bunch of walls, but it could be anything. And it's very common for folks to just need to figure something out, and they go work off to the side and draw some stuff or maybe they're trying to create a diagram or a legend, which is what these walls are for here. Maybe we're doing some little wall types legend. And so they decided to go off to the side and build that stuff. And it seems harmless enough,…
