- [Instructor] Phase filters are really one of the most important features of the phasing tool set. And they're really kind of almost the glue that binds everything else together. So what a phase filter does is it determines which objects will display and more importantly, how they will display in each situation. Now, before I get into the phase filters, let me just point out one small difference in this exercise file compared to the ones that we've used in previous videos. If you look at the walls that make up this small addition on the existing building, notice that they are no longer being demolished here. Well, they're still being demolished, it's just that we've moved the demolition forward to the phase two new construction instead of phase one. So the client expressed an interest in keeping this small addition as long as possible. So we're putting off the demolition into later in the project. That means that we won't…
