- [Instructor] In this video let's talk about crop regions. Crop regions control what you're seeing in a view based on geography as opposed to categories or elements or anything like that. So, what I mean by geography is it's literally going to be a boundary that surrounds the geometry in the view and only the elements within that boundary will display. The most common use for crop regions is to control what we see on title blocks and sheets when it comes time for printing. So, I've got a level one floor plan open here and what I'll do is scroll down and show you an example of a sheet that uses this floor plan. On the sheets branch there's an A101 floor plan view. I'll double-click that and you can see that that same view is here on the sheet. Now, when I hover over it, notice that there's a bold line that, kind of, goes all the way around in a shape that you might expect, based on the extends of this view.
