- [Instructor] When working in Revit projects you'll often need to change the magnification onscreen, or focus on different areas, so in this video we'll talk about View Navigation, specifically zooming, panning and orbiting in 3D. So we first need to get a project open, so here on the Recent Files screen, over in the Models area on the left I'll click this Open button. That'll take me to the Browse window, I'll use the Desktop shortcut here on the left, then go to the Exercise Files folder, and select this file called View Navigation and click Open. Now, if you preferred to use a different file, any file will work here in order to practice zooming, panning and 3D orbiting. Alright, so the easiest way to zoom and pan is to use the wheel on your mouse. If you roll the wheel up, it zooms in, if you roll it down it zooms out. Now, at first it appears somewhat random, but actually it pays attention to where your mouse pointer is. So if I wanted this corner of the parking lot to stay…
