Wall properties and types

both instance and type properties. In this video I want to show you some of the common ones that have to do with walls. So I'm going to start with some of the instance properties of walls that are sometimes misunderstood, and then we'll end with a look at the type properties of the walls. So, in order to understand the properties So what I've got here in this file is a few different floor plans that will allow us to look at each of these concepts separately. So let's double click the levels of detail floor plan, and that will show us an intersection between two of the walls in this file, so we're just sort of zoomed in on the upper left hand corner. Now you're only seeing the thickness of the wall and none of it's internal structure. And that's because if you look down at the bottom of the screen here, there's a little pop up that gives you three choices, coarse, medium, and fine, and that's because we're set to coarse level of detail.
