- [Instructor] In this final chapter, we're going to take a little bit of a closer look at Revit detailing. Not just how to create the details, but what in fact that we get out of the box from Revit. Now there's not a lot of information that goes on when we get to the detailed stage in Revit. After all, it's just trying to model things based on the layering principles that allow it to perform as well as it does. So when it comes to us trying to explain so we can meet code then we need to work a little bit harder than just the out of the box stuff that Revit gives us. As far as what to detail, we need to focus really on those key areas where bits of structure, and there are weak points. So things like this ridge where we've got roof tiles coming over the top, we've got to seal this roof and the sorts of things that we are considering keeping the water out, keeping the heat in, and then stopping any moisture from building…
