Adding a conduit - Revit MEP Tutorial
From the course: Revit: Fire-Alarm Systems Design
Adding a conduit
- [Instructor] Conduit never used to exist either. We used to have to model pipe and call it conduit, ouch. Not anymore. What I'd like to do in this video is actually model some conduit off some exist panels that we have in our model. In Revit, let's jump into our project, let's click Open. We will go to our Conduit Model, let's open that up. Let's zoom in on our mechanical room and go ahead and select this panel. Notice that we've got some little dots here. There's one in the middle, but you can't quite see it. If we right-click right on that grip in the middle, let's go Draw Conduit from Face. Now, what I wanna do is notice that we get this little 3D view and we have this little green item here. We can actually click on this, we can pick it, we can move it up. I'll just move it up to like this area here, now I'll Finish Connection right here. I'll bump it up to three inch. Now I wanna make my Offset be nine foot six, so I'll type in nine space six. Now, I'm gonna just draw it…
