- [Instructor] So there's no shortage of items that we need to place in the duct work. For example, fire dampers, balancing dampers and end caps just scratch the surface. It's important that we place everything we need into the duct, that way we can depend on the output from Revit reporting on how much airflow is going through the duct. To make another point, if we don't put end caps on all of our duct work, Revit will think that all the air is simply being pushed out of the end of the duct, therefore giving us a false CFM report. So let's jump into Mechanical Project-04. Let's go down to Ceiling Plan Level 1. Zoom in on some ducts. I want to put some balancing dampers on these. So let's go Systems. Let's click on Duct Accessory, Fire Damper - Square. I don't see any balancing dampers. That's okay. Let's click Load Family. Let's scroll out of this directory. Let's go down to Duct.
