Adding fire-alarm "hold open" devices
- [Instructor] When the alarm goes off, we want the doors to shut. By adding fire alarm hold opens at the doors, we can start to get into the trenches of the amount of content Revit is starting to actually provide. In Revit, we will go to projects and then open. Browse the file 02_04, and let's grab 02_04_Hold. Open that up. Let's make sure we're in fire alarm floor plan level one. I'm gonna zoom into this area right here. Now we'll go to our systems tab. I want to grab device. Now I want to click load family. Go to your fire alarm directory. Now I want to find fire alarm hold open, wall mounted. Now I wanna click open. Now, I'm gonna go into my wall, I'm gonna put one leg right here, and I'm gonna put one right about here. I'll hit Escape a few times. I wanna make sure they're right, so I'll go to a perspective view again. I'm gonna click this dropdown and go to camera.
