Join Eric Wing for an in-depth discussion in this video Adding return duct, part of Revit 2020: Essential Training for MEP (Imperial).
- [Instructor] Editing return ducts is done exactly…the same as add and supply ducts.…We start with our VAV, then work back to our diffusers.…To get through this video,…we're going to accomplish multiple tasks.…First, we're going to add our return diffusers.…Then, our main ducts.…Then, we're going to branch out to 'em just like we did.…So, let's jump in to mechanical project three.…Beautiful.…Let's go down to ceiling plan level one.…
So, we kind of need a return around here,…but what you'll see is,…although we only have a few pieces of duct in here,…we're getting kind of congested.…So, I'm going to zoom in here and get a return duct.…Let's go to systems, air terminal.…Let's see what we have for return diffusers.…I'm just going to use this one.…12 by 12 connection, I'm going to click edit type.…And we don't have any other ones,…so I'm going to click on duplicate.…
And I'll say I want an eight by eight connection.…How does that sound?…Eight by eight connection, I'm going to back out of here.…I'm going to hit okay.…
