Adding supply duct
- [Instructor] Revit can automatically determine if a duct system is going to be supply, return or exhaust. It makes that determination by the types of duct connectors that are on the equipment. So let's take a look. Right now I'm in ceiling plan level one, however, I would like to go to this section. We know we have a VAV down here. We know we have a rooftop unit. Let's hook the rooftop unit into the VAV first. Before I do that, though, I want to select my VAV. Now I want to hit my space bar a couple times. I want to orient it into this position. Hit escape a couple times. Double click on your section marker. On the view control toolbar, let's make sure that our detail level is set for medium. Let's zoom into our rooftop unit. You know what, I'd like to nudge it to the left just a little bit. Select the unit. Now click the arrow left key a few times. Notice that it kind of nudges it over to the left. Cool. Now…
