Adding wall-hosted devices

- [Instructor] As I may have mentioned earlier, we really need that architectural model to host our devices. It's hard to get away from this in Revit. That's okay, though, 'cause once we stick a device on a wall, it will move wherever the architect moves their walls to, unless they delete it and draw a new one. The first thing I'd like to do is go find some devices. So let's jump into Revit, let's go to Open Projects, browse to where you're keeping your exercise files, I'll grab my wall hosted model. Now, go to Insert, go to Load family, let's go to Electrical, MEP, Information and Communication, Fire Alarm, now we'll scroll down to Fire Alarm Horn Strobe - Wall Mounted, we'll go down to Fire Alarm Strobe Speaker - Wall Mounted, remember to hold down your Control key. And maybe I wanna Manual Pull Station. Let's click Open. Let's make sure we're in level one ceiling plans. Think I'll zoom in on my boardroom here. Then I'll go to the Systems tab, click your Device drop down over here…
