Importing AutoCAD files into Revit

- [Instructor] I bet you have a bunch of AutoCAD details don't you? You don't want to throw 'em away either do you? Don't worry, we can still use 'em. By creating a drafting view, we can simply import our AutoCAD details or typical notes. We can explode them and work with them as if they had always (chuckles) been in Revit. So let's get started and jump into Revit. What I'd like to do is go to the View tab. I'd like to click on Drafting View. This is where it gets a little bit tricky when we're dealing with AutoCAD 'cause AutoCAD doesn't know much about scale whereas Revit does. So what we have to do is either A, figure out what the scale is of the drafting view we're bringing in from AutoCAD, or scale it one to one, which is what I'm gonna do now. So let's go 12 inch equals one foot. For the name, let's call it Typical Symbols, then let's click OK. Now what I'd like to do is go to the Insert tab. Let's click on Import CAD.
