- [Instructor] So, the first we do at the start of any MEP project is link in another trade. Generally there's almost no exception to this, so, that's what I want to do. In Revit, I want to go open. I'll grab that electrical project we just made, or you can grab any model you want. Let's click open. Let's go to the insert tab. Let's click link Revit. I have a couple backgrounds here, but if you have an architectural or structural model you want to link in, go for it. I'm going to go to my backgrounds. I'll select architectural. Now for positioning, there's a few different choices. We're going to go origin to origin. If we used share coordinates or project base point, we'd have to know some of the survey information. So I'm just going to go origin to origin. I'll click open. There we go. Now, the next thing I'd like to do is select the link that's in our model. And I want to pin it. So click the pin button.
