- [Instructor] There are a few different ways to get fabrication parts into our model. One way, the way I do it, is simply model as you normally would, then physically convert what you modeled into parts. My objective here is to model some duct and pipe the old-fashioned way. Then, we're going to optimize this into construction parts. Let's jump into Revit, and under Projects, I want to start a new model using the Mechanical Template, so go ahead and click that. Let's go to the Systems tab, and I want to load in some fabrication parts, so I'm going to click on the little Fabrication Settings arrow, and under Fabrication Configurations, if we click this drop down here, we'll see we have some configurations. Let's go down to Revit MEP Metric Content. I'm not sure what I want here so I'm going to select it all. Now, these are unloaded services. We need to load 'em into our model.
