Simple modify techniques

- [Instructor] In many cases we can manipulate Revit objects the same we draw in 2D. For example, if you have two lengths of pipe that aren't connected, you can actually use the trim command, not only connect them, but add your fittings, rise, drops, symbols and any connected piping needed. So let's jump into workflow 11. See what viewer we're in here, let's jump down to level 1HVAC. Just a regular, good old fashioned level one. And I don't know, we can go in here maybe. Let's go to system. Let's click on duct. Let's draw some duct at nine feet. Draw it from here to here. Hit escape a couple times. I'm going to right click on that piece of duct and create similar. This duct is going to be at four feet. Pick a point here, pick a point here and hit escape a couple times. Now all we need to do is trim these and it's going to bring them together even though they're at different elevations. On the modify tab, click the trim extend to corner icon right here.
