- [Instructor] I've mentioned before that there are no such thing as layers in Revit. So how do we control things like showing items to be demolished or how do we show existing to remain? Revit has fantastic phasing capabilities. We can literally select an item and tell Revit when it was created when it's going to be demolished. And when something is going in brand new. So let's jump into Revit workflow zero seven in the project browser let's scroll down until we find HVAC level one, double click and open it up. Let's right click on level one. That's duplicate view. And let's duplicate with detailing. Let's click on level one. Now soft click into it to edit it, call it level one demolition hit enter. There's nothing that makes demolition other than that name, but we going to change that. Go to manage, go to phases between existing and new construction. I'd like to add a demolition phase.
