Using phasing

- [Instructor] Let's talk about phasing. Now, I don't want to confuse us with the construction sequencing that we can do. To me, phasing in Revit is what was there before we got there, what's going in new, and what's getting demolished. That's it. So I think there should be three phases in all Revit projects. Some firms don't do it that way, my firm does. So let's jump into workflow four. Let's go down to Level 1 floor plan. Let's introduce a new phase to our model, so let's go to Manage, Phases. Let's insert a phase after Existing. Let's call that phase Demolition and hit Enter. Let's click Apply. Let's click OK. There, we've done it! Now, here's what we've got to do. I want there to be a Level 1 and a Level 1 Demolition plan. So let's right-click on Level 1. Let's Duplicate View, Let's just Duplicate. Right-click on Level 1 Copy 1, and let's go Rename. Let's call it Level 1 Demolition. Let's hit Enter. Now, if we go down to Level 1, what I'd like to do is, let's say all this stuff…
