- [Eric] Let's talk about text. I'll be the first to lie to someone and state there's no such thing as regular text in Revit. There is a text editor and you're actually going to use it quite a bit. This video is going to go through the basics of adding text to a model and to a drafting view. So let's get started. Let's jump into Revit workflow 08. We're in a demo plan. That works. I'm going to zoom in on this stuff that we have demolished. I'm going to click on the little A right here or I can go to Annotate and click on the little A here. Either way, it's the same A. Now, text, I don't want 1/4 Ariel. I'm going to hit the drop down here. I'll go 3/32 Ariel, but look at the garbage we've already brought in from those AutoCAD drawings. Let's grab 3/32 inch Ariel. I want to Edit Type. I want to scrunch up the width factor. Type in .8. The Leader Arrowhead I'll click the drop down here and go Arrow, Filled, 15 degrees. Click Apply. Click OK.
