Adding brace frame gussets

- What I'd like to do now, is model some gussets. Again, we're going to do an in place family. So, what I want to do is, I want to go back to our brace bay elevations. Let's open structure 40. Just come here. Let's double click on Brace Frame Elevation. Here it is. Okay. We need to model an in-place family. Remember when we did the step footing? This is a very similar situation. You're not going to find the families in the way that you want to configure your gusset plates. So let's go ahead, and model something in place. To do that, we will go to the structure tab. We will click the component drop-down. And we will select "model in-place". Let's categorize it as Structural Stiffeners and let's click "OK". We'll call it "Brace Frame A Gusset". I think there's two "t"s. No, there's one. One "t". Okay. What I want to do now, is create an extrusion. The good thing is, if we click "set" Revit knows where we are.…
