Adding a brace frame

- [Instructor] With our brace frame all set, we can start modeling framing just as if we were in a plan view. Instead of modeling on a level, we're modeling on a grid. The objective here is to get some tube shapes added to the elevation. All right, let's jump into Revit. Let's open up Structural_35. In the Project Browser, let's scroll down to Elevations Framing Elevation. Drill into here. Let's double-click on Framing Elevation Grid 1 and 2. Let's set our Detail level to Fine. Now I like to select my crop region. Notice that I have little grips here. Revit knew to keep us between the columns. I want to drag that out a little bit though because I want to see my columns in their entirety. Going to hit Escape a couple of times. Now, I'm going to go to my Structure tab, and notice that we a Structural Framing Brace. Go ahead and click that. I don't want it to be Bar Joist. That would be silly. Click the drop down…
