- [Man] Here's another item we use to just draft. I suppose we still can, but check this out. The objective of this video is to add a clip angle to a beam. It's pretty easy. So let's do it. Let's jump into Revit. Under Models, we will go New. Template file, we'll grab Metric Structural Template. Let's click OK. Let's go to the steel tab. Click connection settings, scroll down I'm going to grab a clip angle. Let's add it. Click OK. On the structure tab, click the beam button. I don't care what size beam it is, I'm going to pick a spot here. I'm going to pick a point in the middle. Come on, that way. Perfect, it's good with 3D view. Set your detail level to fine. Set your visual style, it's time to shaded. Oh yeah, it looks nice. Zoom in here, click the connection button. Set up generic connection, let's grab Clip angle.
