Adding a miter
- [Instructor] We could do a few of these tools before, but now they actually work. Let's just jump right into Revit and take a look. Under models, let's go new. For the template file, we'll grab metric structural template. Click OK. Let's change our detail level to fine, and we'll stay in level two. On the structured tab, click the beam button. It doesn't have to be long. I'm going to pick a point here to about here. Nice. Pick a point on the end, come down here like that. Maybe come off the end here. Maybe put one here. I don't know, maybe put one here. We're going to have fun. Let's concentrate on this end up here. Go to the steel tab. Now let's start with a miter. If you click the miter drop down, notice that we have three different miters. Two are useful, one is not. Let's click the miter one here. Hold down your Ctrl key, select this beam and then that beam. Now, hit enter. Go to a 3D view.…
