Choosing a lighting scheme
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to consider the lighting portion of the render dialogue. If you're using Revit LT, you can get to the lighting options by going to the visual styles pop up on the view control bar and choosing Online Rendering Options. Here, you'll see the same lighting settings that are available in the full version of the product. Now there's a few different things we can control here, and the first thing that we want to configure is the scheme. So when you click that drop down menu, you'll see six options. Three are for exterior renderings and three are for interior renderings, and then within each of those two groupings, you have either sun only, or artificial only, or a combination of the two, and that pretty much covers all of the possible lighting scenarios. So your first job is to decide if it's obviously an interior or an exterior rendering, and then whether or not you want the sun…
