Configuring the resolution
- [Instructor] In this video, I want to talk about resolution, which is the next setting in our rendering dialogue and arguably one of the most important settings that you'll consider when trying to find that balance between time and quality that is often at the forefront of any rendering task. Revit gives us two options for resolution here. Screen and printer. Screen resolution really just removes one of the variables. So the DPI setting gets set for you. DPI stands for dots per inch, and that's how many pixels are going to be generated in each inch of final output. You can see the total size of the image here in width and height measured in pixels. So if I go to screen resolution on the image that I have in here on screen, it's 1648 pixels wide by 925 tall. The uncompressed image size will be about six megs when it's done.
