Creating 3D views
- First thing that is required for rendering in Revit is a 3D view. So we have two options for 3D views. We can create an axonometric or orthographic projection or we can create a perspective view. So I will start with the axonometric, and to create one is the simplest is going to the view tab and using this default 3D view icon right here. Now you can click it here but it also appears here on the quick access toolbar. So clicking in either location, and what that will do is open up the curly bracket 3D curly bracket view. So you can see I have a new tab here with that name curly bracket 3D curly bracket. Now I often just shorten that to curly bracket 3D but that is officially the default 3D view. Now once you got the 3D view on screen, you can see that it is sort of a bird eye axonometric view.
