Creating a CMU elevator shaft

- [Instructor] Since elevator shafts are a structural item, it's good to address them. The objective of this video, is to add a 203 millimeter wall CMU wall, that extends from the first floor to the roof. Then we'll add a 203 millimeter foundation wall, that goes from the first floor to the top of the footing. In Revit, I'm going to open Structural-11. I'm going to go up to level one. I'm going to zoom into this area here. I'm going to go to my structure tab. Let's go to wall structural. I'm going to click the dropdown here. I'll grab Generic - 225 millimeter Masonry. Click Edit Type. Let's duplicate it. Instead of 225, lets call it 203. Generic 203 millimeter Masonry. Backspace. Click ok. For structure, let's click edit. For the thickness, instead of 225, we'll go 203. Hit ok. Hit ok. I'd like to get rid of the architectural plan. In the project browser, let's scroll down, lets the click the X next to Revit…
