Creating column offsets
- [Instructor] Just because we used a grid to basically lock in our columns, it doesn't mean we can't move a few columns around here and there. The objective of this video is to select a couple columns and move 'em. Then we'll go back and examine the properties of that column to see how Revit displays the offset and the properties. I'm going to open Structural_06. Lets go down to Level 1, Structural Plans. I'mna going to zoom in here. These columns seem a little out of place. Let's select these two columns. There's a couple different ways we can select these. If you Pick a window, starting from the left, moving to the right, notice that only the objects 100% within that window will become selected. If I do the opposite, and go from right to left, notice that it selects everything it comes into contact with.
