Creating a column schedule

- [Instructor] You're about to find that Revit keeps track of everything. Remember that column offset? Revit seems to know exactly what you're doing. What I want to explore here is just how Revit creates a column schedule. We will automatically generate a column schedule, then we'll have to tweak some of the settings in the tag to make it look right. I'm going to jump into Structural_06. It doesn't matter what view we're in. Go to the View tab. There's a little icon here that says Schedules, and hit the pull-down. Let's grab Graphical Column Schedule. Bam, automatically creates the schedule for us. Notice our column offsets, it displays them. If we select one of these columns, notice that it's a real column. Let's go ahead and tag it. Hit escape a couple of times. Click the tag button right here on what's called the Quick Access Toolbar. Click Tag by Category, horizontal or vertical. If I select my column it…
