Creating cutaway 3D views
- [Instructor] In this video I want to talk about creating 3D views that show the interior of your model. So it's really easy to create an exterior 3D view, but when you want to get inside the model and take a look at the interior geometry, how do you approach that? We have our two types of 3D view, our cameras or perspectives and our orthographic or axonometric views. With a camera view there's nothing different. You just simply go to your camera tool, and you click where you want to stand, like maybe here in the corner of the lobby and you drag towards where you want to look. And it will naturally create an interior perspective in this case because when you click those two points, it is within the building and it will see the surrounding geometry. So nothing special to do to create cameras or perspective interior views. And then of course you can modify that interior view using all of the techniques that we've talked about…
