Creating a material library
- [Instructor] This video I want to talk about reusing and sharing materials. So we've spent a lot of time creating and customizing materials, but maybe you want to use some of those in other projects. So how would you go about doing that? So we have two basic techniques that we can use the first is to use an Autodesk material library, an adesk.libfile and that's one option, but then there's a more sort of generic option just using copy and paste. So I'd like to show you both methods. So let's start with the Adesk lib file and we get there from the materials window. So I'm going to go to material browser. So the libraries are down here at the bottom left hand side, and I'm going to expand home. And by default, I have this one library here, AEC materials.
