Creating a pier tag
- [Instructor] Revit does come pre-loaded with a few tags, but a lot of times the information in them isn't quite what we need. The objective of this video is to tag up here and a footing with an existing tag. Then, we're going to modify those tags and read the type mark of each element. In Revit, under Models I'm going to go Open, browse to where I'm keeping my exercise files and I'm going to grab Structural_55. Of course as always you can open any model you want. In the project browser under structural plans let's go down to top of footing. I'm going to zoom in on any one of these footings. Go to the annotate tab. Notice that we have a tag by category button right here. Also we have tag by category here on our quick access toolbar 'cause it's such a popular command. So click either one of these.
