- [Instructor] Sometimes we need to thicken our slab edge around the perimeter. This video we show you how to do just that. The objective of this video is to create a slab edge. We'll modify the size and material, then add it to the model. So I am going to go to Revit. I am going to open Structural_27. Let's go down to Level One under Structural Plans. Zoom in to your building. Let's go to Structure. Next to Floor is a little pull down menu, click that. Let's go to Floor, Slab, Edge. Let's click Edit Type. Notice that the slab edge basically comes with a 2D profile that we can just make. Click into here and hit the drop down. And I want to grab 900 x 450. Let's click into By Category for material. Let's click our Browse button. Let's grab my favorite, Concrete, Cast-in-Place, gray. Click OK. Now let's click OK. All we need to do now is select the edge of the slab, so I'm going to pick this edge here, this edge…
