Creating a walkthrough

- In this video we're going to begin laying out a walkthrough. Now, a walkthrough is simply a camera that is animated along a user-defined path. So in this video we're going to focus on laying out that path and getting the basic walkthrough setup. Now, to get started, I'm going to work in a floor plan. You can work really in any view that you want, but I think it's going to be easiest to lay out the path in a floor plan view. So I've got a view here called "Walkthrough Temp" and this is just a copy of my site plan where I made a few modifications like I lowered the cut plane so that we can see into the building and I turned on the furniture so we could avoid some obstacles when we're laying out the path. Now, the path that I want to create is going to start over here at the sidewalk, go down under the tower, down the portico, and into the lobby.
