- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to look at another way to create a new material. We're going to use the duplicate method. So sometimes you have a material that's close to what you want, and it's easier to just duplicate it and create a variation. So that's really a standard Revit way of doing things. So let's go ahead and take a look. So I want to create a material for these floor elements here. So I'm going to select one of them and go to edit type and then edit structure. And at the moment you could see it's just set by category. So let's click the little browse button in there and assign a material to this. Question is, which material? Well, let's do a search and I'm going to put in the word floor and see what we come up with. So there are some possibilities here. Ceramic tile maybe, you know, concrete is certainly always a good fallback. There's one here called tile that looks promising, right? Vinyl wood,…
