Editing a material texture
- [Instructor] In this video, I want to go through the process of starting with an existing material and making a variation of it where we actually customize the JPEG images that are used for the appearance asset. So I'm going to be working on our brick material, and it's using JPEG images to represent these different bricks in our rendered views. And what I want to do is create a version of that material for this brick arch here. Now, let me just briefly tell you how I created this brick arch. This is just a loadable family. And if you hover over it, you'll notice that it actually highlights each individual brick. So because Revit can't do a radial fill pattern and because even radial materials are a little bit tricky, I decided that it would be easier to just build every brick.
