Editing the truss bottom chord

- We were able to attach the top chord to a roof. That was pretty easy. But what if we wanted to modify a truss chord by sketch? Well, we can do that too. In Revit, I'm going to open my trusses-4 model. Let's go to our roof level floor plan. Make sure you have a section. I put mine right here. Let's open that section up. On the view control toolbar, let's set the visual style to realistic, just because I like it. I'm going to put a little drop down here, maybe a nice little arc underneath it, it's going to be sweet. So go ahead and select the truss. Let's click Edit Profile right here. It's telling us that it's going to detach the top temporarily while we're working on the bottom. That's okay, let's click OK. And there's that line, this indicates the top chord. What we want to do is modify the bottom chord, but first let's set a couple reference planes.
