- [Instructor] The best part about Revit is the fact that a bunch of people can be in one model at the same time. Some people say the worst part about Revit is the fact that a bunch of people can be in one model at the same time. What I want to do is show you how to be in one model at the same time. It's called Work Sharing. So let me explain it to you a little bit. What happens is when we have a work shared environment that means we're setting up Revit so multiple users can access the same model. That model's called the central model. That model's going to be on your server. When you come in as a user you're going to go into Revit and select file, open. And you're going to go to browse for the central model that's on your server. We're going to do all this in a moment so don't worry. You're going to select that model, but Revit is going to have a button that says create local. So when you click on it what Revit does…
