Overall rendering procedure
- [Instructor] In this video, we will go through the overall process required for generating renderings from Revit. As you might expect, there are plenty of specific variables that can affect the process and influence what is required and what specific steps you need to take. These can include the version of Revit that you're using, or the type of project that you're working on, or how you plan to generate the rendering, or even who the recipient for the rendering is. But regardless of all these specifics, the overall process will remain quite similar. There are five basic things you need, starting with a 3D view. This can be a camera view or an orthographic view, and setting up a 3D view for rendering is really not that much different than setting it up for any other purpose, but rendering efforts will always begin in a well-composed 3D view. Now what you see in that 3D view will, of course, be your Revit model…
