Rendering a plan

- [Instructor] Sometimes you want to create a rendering that's a floor plan, or an elevation, or a section, and you want to keep it in orthographic view in that orientation. Well, we've discussed before how you can only render 3D views. So how exactly would you achieve that? Well, it turns out that Revit doesn't care if the 3D view is orthographic or perspective. So if you just create a 3D view, that's oriented to the same orientation as your floor plan, or your section, or whatever you're trying to render, then it will work just fine. So that means that if I want to render this floor plan, I just need to create a 3D view that matches it. Now, if you look down here in my view control bar, notice that there is no teapot icon. And if I go to the view tab, the render button is grayed out, so I couldn't render this floor plan directly. So I'm going to click on the default 3D view icon, and that's going to open up the curly…
