- [Instructor] So, it looks like the precast tab is now dedicated to Revit. Cool, that means I can dedicate it to our learning objectives. So, here's what Revit does when you're creating precast elements. Revit will turn the selected walls or floors into an assemble. That means the elements are no longer going to be walls or floors. That being said, either do a save as with your model or, really I advise you to think twice about using the feature if other people are going to be in your model. So, with that disclaimer out of the way, the objective of this video is to go in and check out our precast configurations. In Revit, I'm going to open my Syracuse Commons model which is in chapter 14. You can use any model you want, but if you're following along with me and have the downloads, go to Syracuse Commons.
