Using imported geometry
- [Instructor] When you're trying to fit out a scene and get it ready for Rendering, there's all sorts of items that you might want to add to just add that little bit of extra realism to the scene. Having the basic geometry of the architecture is all well and good, but sometimes it's all the little details that matter. The furnishings, wall hangings and office clutter, even people. Those are the kinds of things that really start to make the Rendering a little bit more rich, a little more believable and add some character to it. So sometimes you don't have those items readily available in Revit format. Now you could certainly spend a lot of time creating those items, going into the Family editor and creating lots of items that you need. But another option is to just simply bring them in, in whatever format you happen to have, and Revit supports several different formats from other programs. So in this video, I'd like to…
