Adding area reinforcing

- [Voiceover] The last type of rebar we put in, we put it in stick by stick, piece by piece. We can actually set it to be on-center, major and minor directions, and top and bottom. This works for both slabs as well as foundation walls. What we're going to do is actually create area reinforcing. The first type of reinforcing that I want to do is going to be in the slab. So let's go down to level two structural plan. I want to hover over my slab and select it. I want to click on area reinforcement. Now, what we need to do is the rebar line. I'm going to go ahead and click on pick lines. Now the first line I pick is going to be my major direction. So let's go ahead and make sure we're clicking on the edge of the slab. And I'm going to go right around the entire slab. And then I'm going to pick on these areas. Now, let's take a look at the properties. Layout rule will be maximum spacing. I'm going to scroll down until we find our layers. Top measure direction will be turned on. It's a…
