Adding beam systems
- [Instructor] With each bay framed in with perimeter beam framing, we can add beam systems, let's do it. Under models let's go open. Let's grab 39 click Open. Now, right here what I want to do is I want to add a beam system, go to the structure tab, click on beam system. For the beam type let's click the dropdown here, let's grab W12 by 26, justification will be center. For the layout rule let's go maximum spacing. I'm going to space these at five feet. Now what we'll see is, once we hover over one of these beams that will justify the direction the beams are going to span in. So I'm going to select this beam right here, put them in. Look it didn't tag them, so let's make sure we click Tag, tag on placement. The tag style will be system. Let's click one here, there it is. Now if you were to miss a tag, that's okay. Go to the annotate tab, let's go to symbol, let's go to beam systems symbol. Now all you need to do is select…
