Adding a brace frame

- [Voiceover] Now that we have elevations set that we can put brace frames in, let's go ahead and add some brace frames. What I'd like to do is, in the project browser, I'm going to scroll down until I find my framing elevations. I'm going to go to brace bay A. So double click on brace bay A. Now I'm going to zoom into here. Now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to my structure tab. Now I'm going to click on brace. Revit already knows what plane we're on. Remember we're on grid line F. So what I want to do is, this W-shaped fourteen by thirty seems a little heavy. So I'm going to hit my dropdown. I'm going to find something smaller. I guess I'll grab my HSS six by six by one half. Now I'm going to put in a diagonal brace, but this brace needs to come down to this endpoint of this framing member. What's going to happen is Revit is going to extend the analytical plane into this fulcrum point, but it's going to cut back the actual symbolic member. So I'm going to click right here…
