- [Instructor] In this video, I want to talk about how to create a curtain wall where all of the grid and mullion spacings are completely manual. So creating tight based curtain walls is certainly useful whenever you have standard base spacing. But if you want to vary the base spacing, you can't do that in a tight based curtain wall. So in that case what you're going to want to do is place the grid lines manually and create a custom solution. So to get started, I'm going to go to the wall command. And on the type selector, I'm going to choose the curtain wall type. Now the basic curtain wall type doesn't have any type base settings, so it's essentially just a big old blank piece of glass. So what I'm going to do is draw that right on top of this exterior wall here near the entry of the building. So I'm going to start about 400 millimeters off the edge, and create it 4500 millimeters long. Now when I do that, it will highlight that wall, and generate a warning. So if you look down at…
