Adding custom materials: Part 1

- [Instructor] Okay, we are going to now add in a customized material into your project. Now this is for a material that you may actually be using in your project but it's not in the Material Library as is. Because there's only so many different materials they have loaded into there. So this is for, if you're actually using a true material that a manufacturer supplies or provides and you actually wanna see it in your space. So the first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna click on the Material Library which is inside of Manage and it's the sphere with the dots on it, or blocks on it. And then I'm going to be using LVT or Luxury Vinyl Tile. Now the closest to Luxury Vinyl Tile in Revit is actually VCT so we're gonna actually scroll down, that's previously loaded in we'll say and go to Vinyl Composite Tile, and we're gonna click on that and the reason why we're gonna use this is because you wanna use a material that is as similar to the material that you are using, as possible and that…
