- [Instructor] Next I'm gonna go to appearance, and this is where it actually pulls the image itself. So right now it's set up as a bisected square, which is actually not what that tile is. The tile that we're using is actually an 18 by 36 tile so we need to make sure that the image matches. So the first thing I'm gonna do is gonna actually go to my duplicate the asset. So you have materials and then you have assets. Yes you can access them both inside the material library, but they're actually two different things. The material is just what you name it and the properties that you give it, and sometimes it has an appearance that goes along with it. The appearance or asset is actually something separate that can be applied actually to many different materials all at once. When you're inside the material library you wanna make sure that you're not only changing the material and what it looks like, but you're also changing the asset as well.
