Adding doors and windows

- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to add some doors and windows to our model. So it starts on the architecture tab and we will click the door tool or you can type the keyboard shortcut, D R. The first thing you usually want to check is what types of doors you have available in this project. So this particular project just has a single door family called single flush, but there are several sizes. So you could try a different size if you like. But I think the default size of 36 by 84 is appropriate in this case. So I will simply click outside of that menu to dismiss it and begin placing my first door. If you move the cursor into the screen, you'll get a little circle with a line through it, indicating that it's not possible to place the door in that location. If you look down at the status bar at the bottom of the screen, you can see why. So that message is indicating that we need to click on a wall in order to place…
