Adding doors and windows

- Once you have your wall layout, you usually want to add doors and windows next, so let's take a look at the process for adding doors and windows here in this video. So, I am going to start with the door command. The first thing you are going to notice is that if you try and place a door it is going to give you a message that says "Click on a wall to place a door". Doors are what we call hosted elements and they require a wall host, so the door won't actually appear until you move your mouse nearby a wall and then, it can go on any wall in your file, but until you actually select a wall, you won't be able to place it. Before I go ahead and start placing that, let me make sure I am placing the right type. Here on the properties pallette, I am going to open up my type selector and I currently have three different families to choose from in this particular file.
